Back in the day - Harper's V7 Sport mod

Found in an old (paper) file, circa late 1990s (?) at the West Virginia National. As I recall it, Curtis Harper rolled this stunning V7S onto this cement dock...presumably for people walking by to admire. They did, me included, and this shot came from my trusty twin-lens Minolta. Not sure if I'm remembering all the details correctly, but I especially admire the Bol-style 'Zort' exhaust - so popular on mid-to-late 1970s race Guzzis. Many came from Stucchi but not this one I'd bet.
Good times!

There are so many interesting touches. It’s a wonder the alternator cover didn’t melt.

I can’t make out what is going on with the rearsets. RH brake? Looks like a lot of chassis/control mods with a somewhat stock motor judging by the carbs.
It’d be cool if Curtis chimed in….

Not certain on any of it, but yes - RH brake. Pretty sure the entire front end has been replaced - fork, fender, wheel and brake components. Was tempted to say Lockheed on the calipers, but do not believe those located the inlet on the front, like these.
