Yeah, I spent a bit of time looking at that last night. Sounds like a fair bit of clutch slip on take off and between gears but, having no experience with one of these, that may be normal. I'll be curious to see what this goes for. I'm actually tempted to play myself.

Nice bike and it sounds great. Can't imagine that they didn't install a new clutch based on the work done to the engine and transmission but certainly worth asking the question.

My impression watching the video was carb jetting issues..couldn’t take any more throttle..OR..not enough advance on the timing. 2000 mile diagnostic

A 250 4 stroke can hustle. This one ain't there yet. Really neat guzzi!

I believe that timing advance is manually controlled by the operator at one of the twist grips ala many bikes of similar vintage. I thought the bike ran pretty nicely and settled into a  smooth idle once warmed up. Love watching the open valve train. Cool little bike.
