V100 - Touring Screen
« on: February 26, 2024, 01:59:39 AM »
Hello everyone

This week I received and fitted the upgraded touring windscreen for my V100 and it works superbly up or down. It's supposedly only 30% larger but in my opinion it's the size that should've been fitted from factory. I'm 5'8" and in the up position it smooths out the airflow and scoops it just over head. The OEM windscreen is really noisy in the up position and I experimented with one of those small aftermarket top screen clipon additions and it make even more noise and excess buffeting. The touring screen doesn't make anywhere near as much noise up or down and I doubt will ever go back. If you're skeptical about the upgrade dont be - just do it.

Yup…
‘Knew it from the start, should have been standard. Looks damn good.
Any danger of a few decent photo’s ?

I put the same on my new Stelvio right from the crate.  It is the correct size as opposed to the standard.

Just a note on the screen I received which was purchase from the dealer - yes I know that's the expensive way however on this time they were the cheapest with shipping - the mounting holes were not drilled to same alignment and some careful motivating with a round file was needed to slot them sideways a bit. The material is quite thick so would take a huge force to shatter it. Other than that, very happy with the investment.
