I have a 2022 V7 850 E5 Stone that came with a factory original LED headlight, but I am changing it to an aftermarket LED, which also has high beam, low beam, and DRL functionality.
I see how to wire the high and low beam according to the factory wiring diagram pdf, but I am confused on whether to connect the Purple/Yellow, the Yellow, or both, to the new aftermarket LED DRL wire. According to the wiring diagram, Purple/Yellow goes from the LIGHT LOGIC RELAY COMMAND OUTPUT at the MIU G4 to the factory LED headlight and in the diagram is described as “Enable” within the headlight diagram.
And according to the wiring diagram, the Yellow line goes from the factory LED to bike running functions like the front stop switch, rear stop switch, rear light assembly, etc..
Perhaps both the Purple/Yellow and Yellow need to be connected to the new aftermarket LED’s DRL?
