I listened to the author complain about Guzzi lack of power compared to the BMW. But I never saw the Guzzi tach pass the 4K RPM range. Looked like he was running 3K RPM most of the time. Never got into the "useful" part of the power curve.

He was lugging it alright. Besides the difference in engine size.
