2024 V100 Mandello S

8 valve roller engine for water cooled.  I had the Norge for nearly 10 years, and it was a great touring bike, I hope it finds a good home.

I've never owned a "new" motorbike until today.  I took the V100 out for a quick 25 mile ride and it didn't leak or explode or anything !

I'm an analog kind of guy, and I like gauges, so the dash display will take some getting used to.  But hey, change is cool too !

Seems to be a really, really nice bike.  If it breaks I'm buying a Harley

It's a fine looking steed.  You will have the pleasure of learning its ways over the next 10,000 miles or so.  Are you going to outfit it for touring?  If so, myself and probably others would be interested to see what you add or subtract.

Thanks !  -  Yes, my riding style lately is a one or 2 overnight trip in the Texas Hill Country or the Ozarks, so I will be fitting for light touring.  I kept the Givi tanklock bag I had on my Norge and discovered today they make a tankring for the V100, so ordered one.  -- Starting there. 

Got in a ride this AM, the relatively short windscreen worked well in the warm Texas air, and my helmet was in smooth air.   Might look at a taller screen for cooler temperature riding, but stock is pretty good.  The riding position on the V100 is very comfortable, very upright, not too much pressure on the wrists, and no "crotch crunch"...

Harleys have digital gauges now.
