Hi folks. Actually I could spell Moto Guzzi but I've been out of riding since 2020. Honda VTX1800 and 2nd-gen Valkyrie previously.

I got the bug again and after looking around, locked onto MG because I like shaft drive and the exclusivity of the brand. Also pleased at the relative affordability of Guzzis.

Bought a NOS 2023 V7 Special about a month ago and love it dearly! Red tank stripe model. Love the analog gauges and the overall retro character of the bike.  Fits my smallish frame (5'6" 29" inseam) beautifully. Perfect as a back-road cruiser and grocery-getter but only adequate and no more for interstate riding.

The idea of a V100 for all-day traveling captured my fancy and the more I read the positive reviews of the V100 the more the Jones Factor kicked in . . . I pulled the trigger for a NOS red 2023 V100 yesterday . . . just wow! For power, it takes up where the V7 leaves off and I like the convenience of the digital display--good thing since that's what ya get.

My head is still spinning over this unexpected series of events and I'm humbly grateful that I could swing the purchases. I guess motorcycles are my "bass boat."

Glad to be with y'all and thanks for reading!

Congrats! Now you just need to find and old '70s -'80s model to feel the full Guzzi experience.

No, no!  He needs a nice 500cc single-cylinder.  Reduces both your heartrate and  your wallet weight!

Within a year of my first Guzzi I sold all other bikes and had, at one time, four of them.  Down to two but that';s only due to garage space.
You'll love them.

Hi folks. Actually I could spell Moto Guzzi

ahh, but could you pronounce it?!?

Welcome to the fray. The liquid cooled 1042 cc machines do beckon...but I cannot say I'm yet unable to resist. If I was gonna two up tour...I think I'd likely find myself in a showroom, giving them a whirl. Enjoy!

Larry,

Welcome to the group. We as a community offer opportunity to interact with other Guzzi fans here locally.  There is a club breakfast down in Golden on the last Sunday of every month, I usually ride the Peak to Peak down, and if you poke around on here you will find a thread about a western states not a rally we have coming up in September. This year it will be down in Woodland Park.
If either of these intrique you PM me and I can give you further detail.

Both of those bikes you have are fantastic and I am confident you will appreciate each of them for their own capabilities.

Hey, bro! Are you the Kidsmoke from the Heritage Owners Club?

Eljay!!! Well I'll be goddammed.

What's up brother?!?!?! You found the Heritage of Moto's.

Relative obscurity (ahem, exclusivity). History. Relative affordability - starts to ring a bell eh??

Haven't been around the guitar forum as much these last years. The band broke up, and well, these bikes have a way....you've been warned!!

I have a V7lll and a V100, what more could a guy want? An old Eldorado, a Lemans, a ????, no, no no. It is a sickness, a good one but still a sickness. I keep coming up with reasons for no Eldorado, I hope I can continue to resist. Due to California I can't afford anymore. Oh did I say California.

Hey Skippy. This is Larry in Loveland with the two Guzzis. I'm very interested in the Golden breakfast rides. I tried to send you a PM but the software wouldn't let me. Try sending a PM to me with details and information about breakfast. Thanks!
