‘52 falcone sport fuel tank finish ?

Would a ‘52 falcone sport have chrome panels on the side of the fuel tank or would they have been black ?  Any photos I find have conflicting info

Black panels are correct for 52 Falcone due to chromium shortage in 52 and 53.
