« on: March 23, 2025, 10:49:58 PM »
Hey guys just wondering if the V7 I is compatible with V7 ii and V7 iii in regards to luggage racks and windshields ( hepco and Becker , Puig , dart etc)
Thanks all. Ride safe and enjoy.

I would compare specific part numbers.

Both the HB racks on my MkI and MkIII look VERY similar, but I literally don't remember if they are identical.

And again, it could vary with manufacturer because the fender/strut assemblies vary between certain MkIII models.

Actually IIRC don't the shock mounts vary slightly between the I, II, and III models? I think some racks like the HB use the shock mounts so just there suggests a difference.

The V7III’s upper rear shock mount—which accepts the foremost mounting hole of the larger version rear rack—was moved behind the side case frame area, whereas the shock mounts for the V7’s prior had their shock mounts located forward inside that frame area. So, the V7III rack is out of the running.

Edit: the smaller rear rack might fit all three, since it only attached to the rearmost mounting holes of the frame, which remain consistent across the 750cc V7 lineup.
