Mk3 rear indicator earth

Hey ,
Just wondering if anyone knows how or where the rear indicators are earthed on a mk3 ? Just tidying up some old wiring and it appears someone has run a separate earth directly to the battery.
Cheers

My LM3 had turn wires running along LH frame rail on stock loom. Both + & - so must have been a common ground by battery. No loom on bike now till frame gets straitened. You could use the ground wire in tail light assembly.

Don't know if the same but my LM2 had intermittent rear indicators due to poor earthing, can't recall exactly how it was setup but I seem to think it relied on earthing through the frame?
Whatever, I ran a separate earth wire from battery to rear lights as a definitive cure.
