Removing tach
« on: July 28, 2025, 02:30:02 PM »
What's the trick to removing the tachometer from my 99' Bassa? I've read the manual:

I have the housing off and the stand-offs removed:

I've read this:
https://archive.guzzitech.com/CuringTach-Elec-Carl_A.html

I don't see any remaining fasteners that would hold it in place. Do I need to remove the bezel? Then what?

Is the tach case stuck to the rubber ring?

Pretty sure just pushed into the rubber ring. Maybe a bit of silicone spray and wiggling it.
Good judgement comes from experience.
And experience. That comes from poor judgement.

Thanks a lot. That was it. It was stuck to the rubber ring.
