Lucky enough to get out on two rides today and have comparison. Those that have both will know what I mean by my statements.
Motor - The Norge seems "softer" though it makes a lot more power. I believe it is 25 more HP. The EV seems to pack more torque right off the bottom. I can see why some used this to tow with. Everything is more "Deliberate" on the EV.
Comfort and Controls - Hands down the Norge. VroomHilda just fits me just so. The controls all fall to hand easy and so does neutral via the hyd clutch. If I were traveling this is the bike.
As HUZO says,. other bikes will do 80, the Norge WANTS to do 80 and easily so. The EV (Evie) Like riding high on a big ole tractor, especially since I think I have the touring bars and now installed 1 inch up and 1 inch back Amazon Risers to ease my aching back on the stock seat. Love the floor boards now that I have adjusted the brake pedal to just roll my foot up to reach the brake. Feels just like my HD Dresser days. Still have to lift to use heel toe shifter as on the HD. On EV I Installed the OEM touring chrome mounts and Hepco and Becker Bags. Mucho better than the Norge bags. I wish they opened from the top.
Passenger comfort. G/F like the wide pegs and seat way more on the EV. No contest.
Gas mileage - EV, a lot better.
Ease of Maintenace - EV. After doing open heart surgery to get to the darn oil sending sensor on The Norge, I was delighted to see it in sight a few inches away Left hand motor easily reached for if ever I need to on the EV. Way less computerization to worry about. I can actually read the analog old style speedo and tach on the EV.
GF asked which ya gonna keep? Answer - both for now.

Maint Tip - Used some Novus fine scratch polish on both EV and Norge headlights, windshields and gauge faces and they look like new! Unreal and very happy with outcome.
