So, the wife pressure washed grass hoppers off of the front of my Alfa Setlvio, resulting is clear coat removal. Any one out there know how difficult removing the front cover is ? and if there are devices that will need to be re-calibrated ?
I looked into the removal procedure when I was thinking about getting some of those air horns installed in the Lancia Aurelia in the great Italian movie
il Sorpasso. (They may be illegal in the US.) It looks straightforward enough, as I recall, just some screws to remove. Get an assistant to help with the large panel.
There is a radar rangefinder under an oval-shaped black plastic panel in the grill. Mine has given intermittent trouble and has been serviced twice. Calibration involves a special apparatus that had to be shipped to my dealer. The problem occurred again a few weeks ago. (Otherwise the car has been flawless in its 30,000 miles.) Good luck.
