2013 V7 Stone - Brembo for top mirror and adaptor bar-end
« on: October 12, 2025, 01:41:50 PM »
Hey folks, need some help with my 2013 V7 Stone.

I’m trying to install Oxford OX577 bar-end mirrors and had a few questions:
1. Did you reuse the stock bar-end bolts or need adapters?
2. If adapters were required, which size fits the V7’s internal bar threads — M6 or M8 — and which brand worked best?
3. Are the Oxford expanders reliable, or should I get solid adapters that screw directly into the bars instead?
4. Any clearance issues on the throttle side (did you have to shave the grip or use spacers)?
5. The stock right-side bar-end bolt feels extremely tight (possibly Loctited but not seized). What’s the best way to loosen it without stripping the head or damaging the internal threads?

For top-mount (clamp-style) mirrors:
6. What’s the exact thread size/pitch for the OEM mirror mount on the right-side Brembo clamp? (Mine’s seized and might need re-tapping or replacement.)
7. Can anyone confirm the OEM Brembo clamp half part number for the mirror mount — is it 27664075 or something else?
