Norge Heated Grips
« on: November 19, 2025, 03:29:06 PM »
I have a 2017 Norge  and two questions.

One.  The heated grips just stopped working.  The dash icon is no longer displayed, and the heat selector makes no change. I have traced wires and all looks good.  I have checked manual for fuse and find none mentioned.

On the same bike, the mode selector for seeing codes, setting trips, updating clock is a pain.  I did have to change the battery and most of this started then.

Any ideas?

Have you tried holding the heated grips button for about 10-15 seconds to see if the icon activates on the LCD?

I don't know from memory which fuse might activate the heated grips, but there are not many to check...just open the fuse box and inspect every one.  Possibly one is blown...there's only 5 or 6 to check.

When mine sopped on my ‘07 Norge, I got a 12V test probe and checked down alongside the grip. Only to find that the wire had fatigued and broken off, 5 minutes with the soldering iron had them up and running again.
