Griso pork chop removal
« on: December 13, 2025, 03:45:38 PM »
I'm removing the porkchops on my '07 Griso to pull the rear shock as well as check/lube swingarm and shock bearings.  So far, I've got the RH porkchop 'off' ... to an extent.  But there is a cable (maybe the brake light switch) that is secured by three or four fasteners secured by a small screw on the backside, that I can't access with porkchop still being held by this brake switch cable. It disappears up under the undertray and can't figure out what method to disconnect (short of unscrewing the switch from the brake pedal and would rather not go thru that process)?  I've not read anyone mentioning this cable being an obstacle .. but it appears to be. Where do I unplug it and what else might need removed (started to remove the tail fairing but that looked to be a lengthy process).
