V7ii clutch housing seal replacement

Does anyone have any experience replacing the seal from the clutch housing/shaft? This is a 2016 V7ii, but any experience with similar builds would be appreciated.

1) can I replace this from the clutch housing side? Looking at the parts diagram it looks like I can without having to deal with the transmission gear side.

2) Pull the nut off, get the old seal off, slide the new seal on, done? Anything else I need to be worried about or note?
