 I never could get the search engine to work, wild guzzi site, never, so I gave up.  whats up?   

better luck on the googling the WWW  part No.  for Stone dash bulbs.?

You plug in your search keywords, hit return. The search is done by Google and takes you to Google’s search engine. All the listings that you see on Google’s search engine are the search results for the WildGuzzi forum. Easy peasy.

But you are searching WildGuzzi. I believe many if not most websites use a 3rd party search engine, Google’s being the most popular. But instead of keeping you inside the forum, you’re taken to Google’s search results webpage. Clicking any and every resulting link provided on the search page takes you to a WG thread. You’re getting the results you want, it’s just taking you outside to handle the detective work before bringing you back in :)

If the search box simply doesn't work for you, check for any privacy add-ons in your browsers or settings blocking new windows/tabs from opening.

For me, the Search box is right under the Donate tab on the home page. The Search function works fine on my iPhone, iPad or Laptop.

Everything works for me too. Not all technology works with each other on all puters or whatever & I don't care. Buy something that works new or old

Easier to use Google than to create/code a "local" search engine within the Wild Guzzi site.

It's a little odd at first if you're not used to it, but it works well.

I'm not sure what the problem is. All the links in the search stay on the wildguzzi site which is by design. If you want a larger pool of responses, use a google (or your favorite search engine).

Are you getting an error? I'm not seeing any issues. If you're getting an error, a screenshot would be helpful.

For what its worth, the search feature has been a challenge. When using the internal built in search from the forum software and with over 100,000 queries per day, the server just couldn't keep up and was lagging bad. So years ago, I had to implement the Google search option which only returns results from this site. No outside results are displayed at all.
