From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉 Hawaii.

Harley has joined all the European and American vehicle manufactures who are already partnering with Chinese firms to manufacture their brands for the enormous Chinese market.

Sixty Minutes did an episode on the Chinese electric car market and how Ford, GM, BMW to name a few are producing more cars for the Chinese than any other market. After watching the show and seeing the demand for cars and the emphasis on electric vehicles I couldn't help but think somehow we in North America have missed the boat into the next century.

I told my kids a couple years ago that I may live to see the day when a white man from North America is building a railway line in China.

338 cc Harley made in China?

I have to wonder if anything on that bike is Harley Davidson other than the name on the tank?

Guessing this isn't like Honda's partnership with companies like Hero , where Honda supplied the technology . Likely all of the tech is Chinese , HD is just supplying money , and I'll go out on a limb and predict this will end poorly , similar to the Aermacchi and Augusta deals . The MoCo hasn't been ran by motorbike people in years .

Harley supplying money?   HA.  These guys own Volvo, Jag and Aston Martin.  My guess is that they're paying Harley for the use of the name and paying royalties for the bikes they sell.

I'll predict it will end OK.  Perhaps they'll buy Harley?
