last winter I got a couple cheap web cameras to watch my parents place from home..
1 in backyard so they can view who's coming and a lake view for me to watch sunsets from my home. I can stream live video over the web from them. I paid $32. each so they are not high quality but seen on a small screen the pic/video looks pretty good.
mounted in bird houses.. the backyard cam has a night light bulb inside to keep it warm when it get below zero like
today when it was -19F .. they were both working.. taken at sunrise today,
