Installed 10w auxiliary lights, wired to the lamps next to the headlight bulb, work great. However, as someone kindly pointed out here on the forum and did not poke fun at me for being a rube, said why not wire to the aux light switch on the right side controls. Sheesh, never saw but only have had the bike a few months, like that is an excuse.

Is a 2009 model and there are 2 sets of plugs under the front cowling, 1 of the same on each side of the bike and 2  together on the right side,, smaller, which I am guessing are the heated grip plugins. The larger plugs are maybe for the lights? And if so, where to get matching connectors? Please see 2nd image.

Thanks for any help :)

It has been a while since I did mine, but....

There are two connectors coming out from under the tank nearer the center.  Those are the heated grips.
On mine, I thought the lights connectors had one wired snuggly on the left, and one on the right.

You also may need to add the light relay.

Golly, I must be missing something here.  Why not just hook a meter up to the plugs and see which ones go hot when you hit the appropriate switch.  For the aux lights you can always just cut off the OEM plugs and wire your lights to those wires...or be clever and install a relay and run the light power from the battery (Either way, make sure you install a fuze for each light).   The same applies to the heated grips except that if you buy the Guzzi heated grips they come with the correct plug so not cutting needed.

I thought you had already installed aux lights and this was a done deal.  My bad.

No need for a relay for 10W LEDs - the stock 55W halogens use that wiring, LEDs are fine on the same wiring.

You can find matching connectors if you really want - they're "molex" (brand or style).  I found some at Fry's which is a chain electronics store, kind of a combination of Best Buy and what Radio Shack used to be for components.  Faced with the same task again, I would simply cut off the OE connectors and solder or use posi-tap connectors.

I'm going to eventually replace my halogen with LED and will use the same wiring as is.

Great looking 09 with the wheels / spokes!

The Stelvio factory switch, goes to a factory relay, which goes to factory light connectors. That is the relay I am talking about.
If I recall, the factory had left the relay out, since I did not have the light option installed on my 2009.

That all makes sense. Will tackle this weekend. Yes, we do not have Fry's here in Charleston but was there often when lived in San Diego. Thanks.

Assuming you wiring harness is like my Cali 1400 those two small connectors in you photos are for the heated grips.

The aux light connector on my Cali has three wires.  Just use positaps to make the connections.  No need to cut off the stock connector or find a matching connector.

Anybody who does electrical farkles should have Positaps.  Easy to use even in tight spaces and they don't cut the wire like a scotch lock connector does.

Yes, I used the positaps in connecting the PCV5 and Autotune, good idea. However, another member advised of these as OEM connectors for the plugs on the bike, 1651278  .093" PIN DIAMETER CONNECTOR - 2 CIRCUITS  . I ordered a box of them for $2.99. If fit, could not be happier.

Yes, you are correct. I need the light relay. Did you order from the dealer and where did you get the female connector pins? Thanks.
