I am putting the clutch plates in the Eldo and need an answer. Which side goes towards the intermediate plate? The recessed side of the hub on the friction plates? I can't tell from looking at the manual photo. Thanks.

the raised inner face on both friction plates faces rear, flat side of plates toward motor. you can see it in my video of the rube goldberg tool I made.
