That's a lot of work for....well, it makes him happy. I'm surprised the straight exhaust is not much louder.

Perfect for taking naps on those long IBA rides....

Kudos to him for doing his own thing.

I appreciate the work he out into it, but that Harley tank :-[. I guess it serves his purpose to have something to lie on.

Another reason I live in Maine. Although no plates and no mufflers wouldn't fly here.

Well , that makes better sense , although the LSR bikes (BMW,NSU) ridden by Henne don't much resemble this bike .
Herr Henne was a giant , really good sense of humor also .

Thanks for the link. So the Guzzi T is more of a tribute than a replica. Wonder why he didn't use a BMW?

Guzzistajohn · « **Reply #11 on:** February 13, 2015, 05:40:51 PM »

Not sayin'................... .......... Oh what the hell! Probably a nice bike before he took a sawsall to it!

guzzista · « **Reply #12 on:** February 13, 2015, 09:26:38 PM »

True that...with the fact that ,as its his bike and can do what he wants with it, IMHO not a lot can be improved on some Guzzis aesthetically, but f...ing one up is always easy..regardless of the amount of effort that goes into it.

Yikes on the bike and how he rides it.

rodekyll · « **Reply #15 on:** February 14, 2015, 12:48:29 AM »

I think the sawzall and its corollary, duc tape, are essential parts of any balanced upgrade. ;-T

If you want real quality though, you need a selection of angle grinders. :bike

In any kind of accident, he will be impaled by those rear foot rests sticking out at the back.

bigbikerrick · « **Reply #17 on:** February 14, 2015, 11:53:11 AM »

I had never heard a Guzzi where I didnt like the sound, until this one... blat,blat,blat...Those drag pipes really sound like crap. You need a wider diameter end to make that "basso profundo" sound we love.
Then there is that HD tank, there are so many other sweet looking tanks that could be put on that bike....Oh well, to each his own!
Rick.

I often stretch out over the tank & hook my boots over the rear turn signal stalks.
