Spoked wheels on v65c
« on: February 23, 2015, 06:15:50 AM »
Can anyone here shed some light on adapting a set of spoked wheels to a 1984 v65c. The front end is of no concern. It's a matter of finding the right rear hub to accomplish this.

Hello,

it's not as simple as it seems. You have to move the disk and the brake caliper https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/109393841461951220106/albums/6002450449866406369/6119056615742021490?pid=6119056615742021490&oid=109393841461951220106 on the left side of the bike. See on V65 TT or NTX. You will also need a big spacer (9) between the wheel and the final drivehttps://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/109393841461951220106/albums/6002450449866406369/6119055604039000434?pid=6119055604039000434&oid=109393841461951220106

thanks for the info.  I was afraid it was going to be a big enough hassle that I don't want to spend money trying to get it to work
