I dunno, nothing here looks like '84 R100 - wrong switchgear, wrong brakes, "R?0/6" on engine cover (R100s were /7) - could this be a scam posing as a 501(c)3?

Any tax deduction, assuming it's a legit charity in the first place, would be limited to the amount by which you overpaid for the bike.... :P

It's got one bid at $7k. So for somewhere north of that figure you can have a bitsa bike built by a 14-y-o with a documented week in the industry and a preoccupation with the coolness of his image. What could go wrong?
Where's that thread about the kid looking for a custom/restoration career? I think he needs to contact this outfit.

The 'concept' sold for $7700 and change. I didn't realize until I reread the ad that the bike doesn't actually exist. A 14 year old boy with one week's exposure to custom bike building (and his mentor) has taken the $$$$ up front to build the bike to order. I hope the buyer got the delivery date in writing. :pop
