Why don't the Rokon pics open for me? NGC

can anyone explain why Jim's pic don't show up at all on Firefox? I have allowed pop ups to WG in preferences..

when I open this thread in Safari little photo icons show up where the pic should be and I can open them in a new tab?

other threads with pics open fine, not a big deal but I'd like to understand why.
my first guess is they are hosted on a windows only site..

I get the same thing in the Konqueror browser (Linux) but if I right click and select View Image they open fine in a new tab.  Just one of life's mysteries, I guess.
