Agostini Windscreen for Norge

Have any of you tried this? It seems fairly inexpensive, and I understand that Agostini will deal directly with U.S. customers. (I may be buying something else from them if shipping is not too expensive.)

Agostini is easy to deal with, so fire away.

That said, why do you think you need a different w/s?  Is the OEM too short?  Buffeting?  What?

I am 70" (well, I used to be, anyway  ::)), and find the Norge ergos just fine for me.  As for the w/s, unless it's pouring -- which, as a wuss, means I stay home or find a room -- I keep it at its lowest setting at all speeds.  Obviously, YMMV.

More opinions on w/s than on the "O word" I won't use here.   ;D

Hi, Bill.

The stock windscreen is not bad, especially at less than freeway speeds. But I do experience a bit of buffeting at 60 to 70 mph. I am 5' 10" (at least in the morning, before I shrink!). At its tallest setting, the stock windscreen in about one or two inches too short. It is nearly tall enough, but not quite. If I slouch, all is quiet!

Agree that the stock windscreen on the Norge is not great and allows for a fair amount of buffeting.  Cal Sci has good windshields as well and they are square on the sides which for me made all of the difference in the world to eliminate the buffeting.  They have a shorty, medium and tall...so you have plenty of choices.

^ I have been considering a California Scientific windscreen. I was just curious about this particular Agostini windscreen. I was browsing Agostini's website for exhaust mufflers (and using Google Translate) when I discovered this...

I have a CalSci and just purchased what I believe is an Agostini from MG Cycle.  Not many miles yet.  The stock windshield is noiser than I like.  To me it doesn't buffet just loud.

I'm 5'10" as well and initially had some noise and buffeting I could not get rid of, not bad or really annoying but some.

Put the risers on and everything got quiet. The risers changed my riding position a bit, probably the angle at which the faceshield hits the wind bit it made a difference. You might want to try that, inexpensive and easy to do.

Curses, just sent Agostini an email for prices in US plus shipping for their wind screen (just to have it) and the compensator.  Was going to get a new phone but what the heck, this will be more fun anyway. Its only money. ;D

I have sent Agostini an email too. I have not yet heard back. I am also wondering if the MG Cycles windscreen is an Agostini. The width measurements seem to differ slightly, but I think I'll send an email to MG Cycles, too.
