The neighbor down the street had a really dumb dog that chased parked cars. He looked a lot like that bike after a few years of it.

I like the minimalist nature of it. I also like to be able to see the lump as Guzzi engines are quite beautiful. Being rid of the side-mounted oil cooler helps although the finned units replacing it look a bit...overdone.

When that bike was shown back in 2010 I think I was one of the few here that liked it. No way will you pass yourself on the street. I am too creaky for the LeMans now but would snap up a Strada in a second if it ever went into production.

Liked it when it was first shown and I still like it. The finning reminds me of bikes of yesteryear but with modern brakes, suspension, and bodywork. I think that designer went to Enfield now. I still like the go fast look instead of cruiser.

That one looks like an industrial toilet stall. Just needs a bidet and one-way screws. I DO like the 70mm film reel on the side. Is that for the in-flight movie?, or does it have a 'projector' headlamp?

That's a smart dog. Parked cars are easier to catch, won't run over you - unless he ran into them. Then he may need glasses. ::)

It was a pug. I claimed that before it started chasing parked cars (and catching them) it was a whippet. What would happen is that some car it objected to would haul past and he'd take off after it. When it was clear to him that he wasn't going to catch it, he'd veer off and attack the tires of the first parked car he got to at a full run. When he was satisfied that he'd upheld his honor, he'd trot back to the guy's house like a conquering general.

Well...eye of the beholder and all. Keep in mind I ride a Stelvio which isn't the most handsome thing on wheels.

Don't like the mirrors but really like the fact that it looks like the engine is the center of its universe. Curious how that rear suspension would work.

If I saw a similar model in the showroom, I would be interested in a test ride.

OK, I'll chime in. I don't recall liking it more than half a decade ago when we saw it first and ironically I might like it less then ever.

For ME, motorbikes are impractical, passionate, and hearken to a time that has either passed by or feels like it could anytime.

As such the transformer styling of many modern performance machines leaves me cold.

Give me bodywork like a classic piece of art, not some modernistic interpretation of an insect.

Make the motor the star but again with gentle lines, not ugly, cold, angles.

With family sedans that deliver performance that supercars only dreamed about a decade or two ago I don't ride for ultimate performance, I ride for the romance of it... Give me a bike with the looks that justify that.

The Brian and Ghezzi Guzzis were very advanced in style, but were exceptionally tastefully done, with all parts well-integrated with one-another, and quite functional.

As for the subject monstrosity: Eew! (Rolling my eyes and holding my nose). I see the hands of the Teutel family here. Maybe Jesse James, as well. Locked in a desperate build-off.

I can't say I hate the styling, in fact I kinda like it... but what kind of MORON adds the rear shock to the swingarm??? That's all a CARC bike needs, 6+ pounds more sprung weight.

I agree, if I want to ride a cold hard race bike, I'll go to the track. Now, if cold lines is your "style" more power to ya. But I like personality.
