Lario/Monza for sale
« on: May 03, 2015, 06:30:55 PM »
Just posted my "Mario Lonza" at the classifieds section. Hate to see it go but way too many projects going on right now...plus my 66 year old body  is telling me it's time to move on to something a bit more civilized.

$2900 takes the bike and the donor Monza (no title for the Monza), lots of misc. parts, factory manual and Guzziology.

Here's a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3dJXZucod0

email me here sew@goldbugproducts.com I can email many more pics.

Bike(s) is in Delavan WI, about 1-1/2 hours from Chicago or 45 min. from Milwaukee.

A great chassis, a reliable engine, and cool bodywork.  What's not to like??  Somebody snag this one.  ;-T

Kevin, I thought you would appreciate it!! Too bad you don't need a third Lario!!

Not much interest here...or even on craigslist https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/mcy/5007818738.html. (More pictures here)

Most people I've talked to don't think the price is too high...For a great running bike with the Monza chassis and all the parts??

I'd have been all over it a few years ago when I was *looking* for a Monza. I'm pretty well tooled up with small block now, though.  ;D

What's the blue fender off of in photo 6?

Almost looks like a Le Mans IV fender. I'm looking for one.

Don't really remember what it was off of. I think I got it from Ed Milich. Lario and Lemans IV bodywork is pretty much interchangeable.

I cut off the side 'stanchions' so it would fit on my Suzuki front end that I was originally going to use. Ultimately went back to the original Lario front end. Should still work fine on either a Lario or Lemans IV.

Doesn't really go with the Monza parts so unless someone specifically wants it with the whole package it's yours....Just pay for shipping, probably about $10-15 UPS ground. Give it about a week, I'm probably putting the bike up on ebay in the next day or so.

Fenders are just different enough Lario vs. Le Mans and I'm going back as close to stock as possible. The cut off side "stanchions" had me fooled, but now I see it has the "mudflap" too. Definitely Lario.

Thanks for taking the time to post the photo.
