Well, it seems I can complicate a stick. The Norge was popping, crapping out, catching above 5000 rpm, running on 1 cylinder, and smelled of burnt rubber or wiring. Seeing as I just installed a louder horn and relay I thought I had screwed it up somehow, and baked the ecu or some other catastrophic eff up. Turns out the spark plug lead on the left cylinder was arcing to the head. All this high tech stuff leads to me assuming the worst. Ended up removing the airbox and panels etc. to check all the wiring BEFORE I checked the plug wire. Drat! Anyway, glad it was a simple fix. The bike has 16000 kms, anyone else run into this? Is this a common Guzzi issue?
