Deju Vu all over again.
« on: May 16, 2015, 08:51:56 PM »
I've been looking for a small bike to truck across country. I wanted one I could load and unload by myself. Been looking at XT225 and 250 variants, or TU250X. I don't foresee too many cross country bike trips anymore, but I still like to joy ride in the mountains and back roads.  Today I found an XT350. It will be about my 3rd one. I wanted to avoid the kickstarter, but it's pretty mild on an XT. Always wanted a red and white one:

1986 model with 5000 miles. It's gonna need a major cleaning, and the muffler fixed or replaced.  If I can get the Sportster sold, might look for another so my brother/son/buddies can ride along.

Nothing to see here folks... Just the head engineer of the New England Patriot's inflation confirmation station hard at work.

Why no ref, that ain't stickum...

I dig the 350s. A fella can get down the highway - if a bit leisurely - and save on fuel over the 500s and 550s I've had in the past. Took me a while to learn range is almost everything.
