The Whistle Stop
Rte. 154
Deep River, CT
As usual, a few of us will get there at 7:30 AM to secure tables, and we'll be hanging around 'til 9:30 AM, or so.
Reliable sources tell me that an anxiously-awaited, 2016 Moto Guzzi will be on hand, one out of a batch of the first 100 produced...and certainly one of the first in America!

Weather for tomorrow: partly cloudy...lows in the mid 50's, highs in the mid 80's. Yet again, will be dressing in layers...

Hi to fellow CT/RI riders. I've been wanting to go to one of these breakfasts, but I'm a late riser and never manage to get out of the house before late morning when I don't have to. And it is about a 1.25-hour ride for me. I would have liked to meet the fellow new '16 owner (I picked up my V7II Stone on May 8). Would you ever consider moving one of these events up to lunchtime?
Cheers,
Sam

Later that day I did manage to get to The Vanilla Bean in Pomfret, riding my new V7II Stone, where I saw 3 other Moto Guzzis in the parking lot, probably remnants of the group that met earlier at the Whistle Stop. I didn't meet any of the riders, but my first impression was, Geez, these guys are even older than I am (I'm 73). Maybe riding Guzzis is a life-extension trick!

Yeah...speaking from personal experience, maturity and Moto Guzzi goes together.
