The real drama will unfold in 6 days. He is rolling the dice on the no reserve but my guess is it works. I have seen some very nice no reserve bikes take off.
 If not he might just have the money put aside and a friend who will buy it at his reserve.

I must admit that Darmah looks great. This has bevel drive camshaft, but not desmo valves? EDIT: I see now that it did have desmodromic valves.

Edit: answer to my question the 78 had 65K miles on it. The 79 has 12,000 miles.

I have bought and sold too many items, including motorcycles, on ebay and I am very skeptical of auctions especially those with no reserves.  There are too many ways a seller can game the system by having friends or relatives bid up the bike.

Its still only worth what YOU'RE willing to pay. Anyone that gets involved in the auction process thinking the bidders decide the value as opposed to the price is likely to be disappointed.

The Ducati, by a few hundred dollars, at $9950, to the LeMans's $9600.

Not completely ridiculous prices, judging from their apparent conditions.
