only 15,000 (s)miles now..   ;-T

*We found a nice route out to Hagerstown this weekend.   From WV we found our way out through Washington,PA...out to rt136 in Eighty Four.   We rode 136 till it turned to rt 31 (around West Newton).   From there,  rt31 was great all the way to Everett.   There we turned south on 26, which turned out to be a nice road as well.  Nice road surfaces and decent scenery.
We were tired of taking rt40 out to Hagerstown, MD!

The next trip out that way we'll explore a bit more....and get some pictures.

On the way home,  we headed south out of Hagerstown to Sheperdstown, WV and a bit more south to check out Summit Point Raceway.  The place was hopping on Sunday!   On from Winchester, VA and then rt 50 all the way to Clarksburg.   Rt 20 (very twisty, but a bit bumpy!)  to rt 7 Ohio North and home.   600 miles.

Thanks!

We still have her.  Adding miles still!

We missed the New Cumberland Rally by doing our normal Memorial Day ride.  We jumped on the NTX and did a 600 mile round trip to Hagerstown, MD, Shepardstown, WV, Winchester, VA, and back west via rt 50.   We took that to Clarksburg and caught rt 20 to New Martinsville.   Until they repave 20, I'm staying off of it.   Nice and twisty,  but covered in patches.

WV 20 is one of the roads I take on my Virginia to Ohio excursions on the old Brits, but thanks for the heads-up.    When those WV roads are good, they're very very good, but when they're bad they're horrid ... !

It's still a good road,  but the sections that were in need of repair made it seem like it went on forever!   I'll probably look for routes off of 20 for the next trip......just to mix it up a bit.

I'm thinking for our next trip, on our way home we'll go a little further west on 50 to 23 or 18 and find our way to Sistersville.   Might even be this weekend!!
We just got some new leathers that need testing,  so it might be another 600 mile weekend!  With all the odd weather and work schedules,  we're getting behind on mileage.  :)
