My V7C
« on: June 07, 2015, 07:16:04 PM »
I bought a V7 2013 Stone last September and finished my mods a few weeks ago. Thought I would upload some pics, for feedback.

You'll note the new handlebars, new mirrors, fender eliminator and exhaust wrap.

My one regret (well sort of) is the fender eliminator. I get way too much splash back when riding on rainy days. I am thinking of buying the the rear fender and license plate bracket from MG's Dark Rider kit. A little annoyed that they retail for about 600 USD though...

Also, the stain on the road in the first pic isn't oil, it's water.

Cheers,

Mike

Cute!
Yeah you do need something for that rear wheel. Don't know about available options, but why don't you go with a hugger, that way you'd basically keep the present look of the bike?

Great looking bike.

I've always liked the look of the fender eliminators, but would probably never do it to my own bike from a function standpoint.

But pashaw - it's NOT a V7C!

It's a V7 Stone - V7S if you will, though that might be confused with a V7 Special.

No matter, wear it with pride.

I like the cafe racer look and thought about a fender elimination for my BMW but I ride to work and the idea of all that sloppy dirty water being slung up in my bike and on my legs makes me keep even the clunky looking BMW rear fenders......

Cool bike.

Califurnia state models don't need fenders.  :boozing:
