Vintage Ducati prices make Guzzi's look cheap

Ian Falloon's 1973 Ducati 750 GT - $34,500.00

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ducati-Other-/201474751950?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2ee8d4bdce:g:ZDwAAOSwHQ9WWS9G&item=201474751950

And if that's not enough bike how about a 1974 750 Sport for $46,999.00

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ducati-Other-/221950038288?forcerrptr=true&hash=item33ad40d110:g:fqYAAOSwnipWVKz~&item=221950038288

The price of the early 750 GT and Sports are climbing every year, probably why the Guzzi V7 Sport and Le Mans  are becoming more popular

But this is the one I would want, one owner and all original

I found a '73 750 GT basket case - and I do mean basket - here in Vancouver 3 years ago. The restoration went up here:

It's big-ass fun to ride, though I put the most miles on the Loop during the course of a year.

Been trying to get my hands on my brother's '75 GT to get it restored.  I've talked to a couple of people but getting him motivated to do something is always a challenge.  These prices are helping though.

In spite of having to endure that disparaging youtube video and listen to the reviewers scathing remarks, I still want one!    :thumb:

I think they are one of the most beautiful bikes ever made, and to think they are over 40 years old.

I'd describe the Roundcase Bevels as "austere, yet voluptuous"

I remember trying to sell the GT750s in 1975 new for  MSRP of $2,450.00.  Customers mostly walked away, most didn't like the style and opted for a Norton or Triumph.  They are a wonderful ride though.
