Wayne, would you fire these notices out three or four days in advance of the event....
Yes, Im a lazy bugger who wants information spoon fed rather making the effort to find out schedules for myself. I admit it.
I have Dorna bookmarked on every computer I touch but only ever seem to know when WSBK is on if I see your posts.
~ does Biaggi look old?
~ what do you make of Stoner's dump in Japan? ... Rusty skills? Self-expectation too high? Just an incident... happens to every world champion on a come back. ...
Cheers; rubber side down.

This is Biaggi's 2nd and last race coming back from retirement in WSBK.

Stoner's accident in the Japan 8 hour endurance race was caused by a stuck throttle in the electronics of his bike.   Doubt he'll be trying racing again now after his body heals up.

From past experience figure if I post these races sooner here by the time the races start it will be old news here.  :cheesy:

WOW the 1st race was WILD !  As usual more entertaining than any MotoGP race.  Didn't know 'till the last lap Rea was going to win it.  :thumb:   Biaggi came in 3rd!

Davies won the 2nd race but again Rea came from 2nd and almost pulled the win off in that race too on the last lap.  Biaggi got punted on the 1st corner of this race.  :thewife:

So you are saying it is as entertaining as Moto 3?  I like the big bikes but my heart and soul are with the two entry classes. Usually far better racing for the fans.
That's  where there are six different lines for almost any corner. Fearless rookies jockeying for position with very little regard for physics (I wish I were as talented).
Kind of lost interest in Superbike when Duhamel evaporated from the scene. Saw him race twice but it was against Canadian wannabe's and not the real cream so it was more like:   'here you go boys... follow this line, brake here, ... you'll go fast one day. Lesson over.. have a checkered flag to collect.'

I find Moto 3 about as exciting as Nascar.  I want to see real speed and skill.

You want to see speed and skill? Go watch jet fighters take off and land. I'd find that as boring as Nascar.
Moto 3 racers touch 140 miles per hour on a machine weighing 325 pounds including them an the fuel.... Skill? I believe so.

I don't believe they do 140 mph.  I used to road race 350 production bikes and we got to 100 mph. I figure they run about the same speeds we did.   250 GP 2 stroke bikes maybe got to 140 mph but not these beginner bikes.

As far as planes launched of an aircraft carrier...I've experienced that and there's nothing boring about it !  Every time I see 1 launched I know what that feels like and what happens if something goes wrong.

Regarding the bikes; just reporting back on Dorna's information. A three fifty (I owned an RZ) at 100 is plenty fast. But I think the same technology that has turned an 850 LM into a quaint dinosaur has probably touched the apex of go fast engineering.... In the 70's and the 80's a current BMW supersport (you know the one) would have wiped King Kenny's posterior on a flowing circuit.  I'm saying what was; isn't.
Regarding flight decks... If you are near by physically and enjoy the visceral experience of a full throttle take off I'm full on-side with the comment; sounds like you were a pilot?. Seeing them on TV (which is where most of us experience top level racing) has no where near the cache.
But enough about us... :) ...  I love bench racing as much as anyone. More importantly is to promote racing at all levels so we don't get kicked off the carbon print agenda.

I wasn't a pilot like Kirby 1923 was, but I did get launched off a carrier once as a passenger from Vietnam to the states when I was separating in the Navy in `68.  They told me to brace for going from 0 to 100 in 3 seconds but they didn't tell me what it would be like after we left the carrier.   On that 1 day I got lifted by cable on the fantail of my Destroyer to a helicopter......the n it landed eventually on the
Carrier.  Had lunch there.  Then launched off the carrier to the Philippines on a ASW twin engine aircraft to Pubic Point.......then waited 1/2 an hour and took a low altitude ride over the jungle on a C-47 to Clark AFB.
