Good, realistic review.

On the weight comparisons, I am not sure apples and apples are being compared.  BMW and others do not come stock with all the gear that is stock on the Stelvio.  Published weights reflect this. The Stelvio comes with engine guard bars, aux lamps, bash plate, aluminum saddlebags etc etc and those items are included in the factory published weight. Not so with the other brands.

A couple of years ago, I took my Stelvio NTX with a full tank of gas and weighed it neck-and-neck with a similarly outfitted BMW GSA at our local dealer.  The Guzzi weighed in at about 5 pounds LESS than the BMW. Basically, the same weight at just over 600 pounds..

Sitting on the Guzzi, it feels smaller, more narrow and svelte. The Guzzi also has more stable steering geometry with greater rake and trail in the front suspension. This provides much greater stability at speed and on dirt roads.

I know I may sound biased - and I am. lol
