Pitiful Breva Hi Beam

The hi beam on my Breva (2007 1100) is so bad that it seems to me that something is wrong. I mean, I can't even really tell that it's working at all except that I've looked at it and it is. It throws a tiny bit of weak diffuse light but it can't be the way that the factory intended. I've tried another bulb (H9 65w) with no joy.
How am I supposed to pierce the night with a thumbtack? Metaphorically speaking.

Yea something has to be wrong. I have always said the hi beam on my 2007 Breva 1100 is by far the best headlight I have ever had. Hell my riding partner would drive just head of me like 30 yards because even at that distance my headlight out did his by a long shot.. Need to get that thing checked out. Or get home earlier.
