Updated bike cam from Innovv

I've been using the Innovv C3 bike cams with very good success. Unlike some other mobile cams like the GoPro, the C3 uses a separate controller to give you a lot of flexibility on where you mount the lens with sends the video via HDMI to the controller. A 128 gig SD memiery card provides day long video capture at high frame rates and HD resolution.

Now, Innovv has the K series which gives you a forward and rear bike cam and a monitor, something the C3 lacked.

If you don't have a bike cam they can extend your motorcycle sports by letting you share the trips via selected video clips or look at things you might have missed as you carves the curves. If someone does the nasty in front of you, at least you'll have a record since the cams detect sudden braking or an impact and it locks the video to prevent accidental erasure.

Just another tool to use when riding. The C3 also has helmet mounts while the K series doesn't seem so well suited to that function.

Bike cams aren't for every one but if you want to use one, the Innovv models do work well for the intended purpose and offer a lot of flexibility while being very behind the scenes in operation. Basically a set and forget bike cam and the K series seems to be a step up from the C3.

On the Norge, the C3/is mounted on the left mirror stalk and the field if view with the wide angle lens takes in the speed on and tach in addition to the view forward.

I've gotten some good videos of both bicycle and motorcycle rides with my C3.  It seems to be good quality for what it was intended to be.  Here are a couple clips from some video I took a few weeks ago when I mounted it on my Yamaha DT100 and went to the go-kart/supermoto track at Virginia International Raceway.  The wavy distortion is caused by vibration from the handlebar, not the camera itself.

When the Brussels sprout fails to venture from its lair, it is time to roll a beaver up a grassy slope.
