Question for CX100/ 1000 SP owners.
« on: October 03, 2015, 11:33:15 AM »
I am in the middle of building a custom bike and bought a pair of foot peg brackets off of fleabay and after getting it all set up, I realized that someone had shortened them.
So my question is, what is the total length of the bracket? End to end?
The front (rider peg) is where it was cut and rewelded. So I will cut, extend and reweld to the correct length, making the shift/brake pedals work correctly. Or if anyone has the uncut originals they might be willing to part with, even better.
Thanks in advance for any replays.

The back pegs are for the passenger, but I use them on straights for more leg room(30") too when solo riding.

Thanks Wayne and John.... I took them to a friends shop with a piece of 3/8" pipe ( 17mm compared with 18mm on the bracket)  and a couple hours later, Bingo, back to stock!

Loving the forum again!
