Textron/Beechcraft make the plane in this picture. It is a a trainer and/or light attack version known as the "Texan ii". They are produced for our military and a number of other countries. They do shake down test fights near my house. Once again wish the picture was better but the plane was at least a mile away. Cannot make out the insignias on the wings but check out the colors on the rudder.

They must have orders to seek out and destroy anyone taking pictures of their secret program. You had better play it safe and wear a pair of Grouch o Marks glasses for a couple weeks.

I can't see the colors but assumed before reading that the Italian AF connection would be the sight of the horizontal stabilizer having been "Luigi-ed" to the planes get-along.

"Stoopido, you forgot-a thee back-a wing..."

"Iz OK, we put-a it... here!"

I thought a T-28 was a plane-full-o-canopy - that things just a flying cockpit. Man would I love to have one. I'm a warbird guy on a "JustAircraft" budget.

Those are built under license from Pilatus as they are derived from the Pilatus PC-9. My son lives 6 miles from Columbus AFB where they are used as trainers. You can watch them al day long doing touch andgoes along with T-38s.
Pilatus is a Swiss company.

Yep. The USAF alone has over 500 in service. That doesn't count the F-5.

Managed to get a ride in a PC9 just before leaving the Royal Antique Aircraft Federation (Aust airforce known as the RAAF), derated to 950hp 2.5 tonne fully loaded, she goes, she goes she, just goes! The only thing hydraulic is the undercarriage and the flaps the rest is all rods cables and bell cranks.

Aren't you the one with the submarine in Oklahoma?
 Can't you just torpedo it?
