Speed Bleeders - Great Item!
« on: October 21, 2015, 10:13:17 PM »
A couple weeks ago a post here asked about bleeding linked brakes and a recommendation for 'Speed Bleeders', sounded promising so ordered six on line for the 750 S3 restoration I am finishing off. The speed bleeders arrived today and I threaded two into each caliper, I also bought the plastic catch bag and plastic drain line. The brake system is all new with empty steel lines, hoses, master cylinders and freshly rebuilt calipers. I thought bleeding an empty and new system would take a lot of time. The speed bleeders made this a one man job that took under twenty minutes to get all of the air bubble out.

What a great and simple product! :thumb:

Thanks for posting.  I'll get off the fence and order mine now.  A pickup truck application, though.

Won't work on the Morini - weird Grimeca calipers.

I bought them on line direct from Speed Bleeder, got him delivered up here to Canada in less than two weeks. |They have a very good web site that lets you pick my type of vehicle, make and model.

Thanks for that, much appreciated. Last time I looked I had a part code but never pulled the trigger.

I put speed bleeder on the Cal II and R1150R.  Absolutle amazing difference...as you said, 20 minute or less job bleeding the brakes.  Speed bleeders is also an excellent company to deal with.  Had a little issue with the R installation a few days before attending a rally.  They sent me the repair part free, overnight even though it was my fault.   :1: :1: :1:

Though I can't swear to it, the front calipers look just like those on my '02 LeMans which take the SB8125L.

Instead of guessing, call the company!

Todd @ GuzziTech also sells them.

Go for the stainless.

Just ordered one for the clutch slave cylinder on my MG midget as these are a pure pain to bleed. Never heard of this product before but it sure sounds good.
