Motorcycle journalist learning to ride a Guzzi

Can anyone remind me who the new motorcycle Journalist is that is writing for an automotive mag?  His name may be Johnson or Jackson or similar, and he might be writing for Auto Week?  I really enjoyed his articles on learning to ride (and a Guzzi, besides).  Jurgen
