Vintage car identification - NGC
« on: December 31, 2015, 10:28:04 AM »
I'm not very knowledgeable about cars of this era, but I'm sure some of you guys are. Can anyone tell me what this is? My idea is that it's a 6 cylinder Nash, maybe 1932? It had wooden wheels.
I may of course be completely wrong.

Based on the louvers on the hood, I'm going to say 1933 nash Big Six.

But, I'm not that great at these things, either.

Looks like this 1930/32 Nash

Rare birds, apparently:

"This 1930 Nash model 482-R twin ignition six is the only one known to exist in all fifty states, Canada and seventeen other countries according to the Nash Car Club of America registry."

Guys, thanks for the feedback. A friend of mine has discovered it and is trying to find the owner. Could be a very interesting project!

It's a 1932 Bottomless Money Pit. I have seen many such vehicles when I was in the hobby. I had a 1946 Hudson pickup BMP once. Also had a nice 1925 Graham Bros. truck.

It will buff out....

That engine appears to be a 4 cylinder so probably not a Big Six, but what do I know?
