There's a lot to like here spec wise...shaft drive...rims appear tubeless...1200cc motor...5.7 gallon tank. But, the most important spec  a lot of folks are interested in they didn't list... weight...Bet it comes in at least 60-70 pounds over the Africa Twin 1000cc

Dean, are you thinking of heading in that direction?

If you are, and considering going the the auto transmission route, I'd love to hear all about it;

That would be a big stretch on my budget. If I can manage it sometime in the future I might try and pick up a leftover or used Suzuki V-Strom 650.

Dean, I'm sure you know there are lots and lots and lots of used V Stroms out there, as well as a few local dealers who sell new leftover 2014 or even 2015 models in the $6Kish range.

If you're unfamiliar with the site, also take a look into Stromtroopers, for a huge amount of rider and technical info, as well as some of the lowest prices on clean used bikes you're apt to find anywhere.
