***NGC*** Hard to believe what passes for journalism.
« on: December 29, 2015, 04:10:14 PM »
I choose to filter my news and read (or choose not to) online but it is harder and harder.  I saw an article on the correct way to wipe our #ss.  I did not read it but wondered who would even choose to open the article and read it.
I can help but remember that scene from The Jerk with Steve Martin where his father is showing him a pile of crap and shoe polish, so he know sh#t from Shinola.

Lots of news stories now are completely computer generated from other sources. A program writes the story.

Scary thing is how many people believe the stuff.

I must ask, what was the source of the "news" story?

And it may not qualify as news, but it is a topic.  Do you wad, or fold?  Forward or backward stroke?  How many sheets?  Old school dry paper, or new soft/wet wipes?   The questions go on and on.   However,  I'm going out on a limb here to guess that this thread will not.

But I would be happy to talk about it over a campfire this summer.

I'll wager dollars to donuts that the diet of the average Guzzisti varies significantly enough from the diet of the average person who would search out such an article as to make the article insufficient in depth.....or I might just be full of $hit.

For women, there is definitely a correct direction and an incorrect direction. For men, not so much.

Cant find it , are you sure the article didn't just say it was on the HP ? Interesting , have never read the HP before , they seem to deal with some unusual topics .

Well, get a bunch of long distance riders together and it becomes material for numerous discussion threads. For example, see http://forums.delphiforums.com/MCTourer/messages?msg=16462.1 as well as threads on the LD boards...  :bike-037:
