New Source for V7/V7 II Engine Oil
« on: January 06, 2016, 04:39:23 PM »
A shop opened in New York State in June that is selling the recommended oil (ENI i-Ride PG 10W-60 ) for $13.50/litre with free shipping. Payment is by PayPal. Site here: http://www.staccatocycle.com.

I ordered four litres today and received notification that my order had shipped within about two hours.

The owner, Anthony Bottino, told me that he is not yet carrying AGIP Gear MG SAE 85W-140 or ENI ROTRA LSX 75W-90, but will consider it. If enough people are interested, it sounds like he might be willing to carry these products.

P.S. The container does not say PG (which stands for Piaggio Group) on the front, but a photo that Mr. Bottino sent me of the side (showing various Piaggo Group marques and the designation 4T) coincides with a photo on the ENI site of the PG version that shows the same markings on the side.

I think the head office for Agip is in NY
I wrote to them a while back asking about the sludge in the bottom of a new bottle

The corporate head office is on Madison Avenue. The U.S. sales office is in Jane Lew, West Virginia and the Canadian sales office is in Vaughn, Ontario.

You know, I'm just letting people know that there's a new small business in the U.S. that is selling the recommended oil at what is, for me, an acceptable price, shipping included, and that apparently ships very quickly.

As for ENI/AGIP as a company, its products are ubiquitous in Italy, and the one or two motorbikes in that country apparently run OK on ENI/AGIP oil.

Cheers

Update...

My order from Staccato Cycle arrived promptly via USPS Priority Mail and is precisely what I wanted. I hope to do business with them going forward, in my view well worth supporting.

Just came across an earlier thread relating to this new shop: http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=76846.0
