I knew from Day One I'd love this bike - 1200 Sport
« on: January 24, 2016, 05:53:31 PM »
Homecoming April 2010.  The Guzzi is ridden home from Swanzey NH to Hudson OH.  I was breaking her in on Interstate, but being careful not to cruise at a steady speed.  This particular Interstate, between NY and OH, wasn't heavily traveled, so I could go up and down thru the gears.  Must have worked ..... 62,500 miles later, she is just as sweet as the first few days bringing her home.  Thanks, Tom, for capturing this moment!

EDIT - Now, there's a stock exhaust I can live with!

Dang, Bob...those are such cool bikes. I think I mentioned to you that I felt the 2 valve Big Blocks would be considered revered classics someday. I'd say that your Sport qualifies...

I think she does, too ..... even with the chrome plastic wings!  My excuse .... they're sacrificial, and don't cost much to replace (assuming they're available.)

BTW - good to hear from you!

Hi !
I'm the Stelvio owner from Strongsville. I believe we spoke at the December Guzzi Breakfast .
I like the Stella so much I bought an 1100 Breva last month. Soon as I did the Wx turned and I haven't had the chance to
ride it much. Looking forward to seeing your Sport. We must talk about lowering footpegs.
