Geez I like the video, I could (and have) watched it over and over, not to be rude, but could you re post it at actual speed, it's a great view. BTW, where was it shot ?

How do you know it is really an 850? The only view is from the riders seat and just a bit at the end. The video was posted almost a year ago and if it was really an 850 Norge it seems like there would have been a bit more news.....or maybe there was and I just missed it.

There is an 850 European version of the Norge, but I agree the video doesn't show any evidence.  I wish these vids just had the sound of the moto and not the music dub over.  Aside from that, no way that I could distinguish it was an 850 either!  I think there are other Youtube videos which will show that model.

The 850 is not a new model, it's been out for several years already...just FYI.

More stupid music, what is wrong with these people! Another good vid ruined, as I snap my suspenders and mutter to myself.
Very little discussion has ever taken place on this board about the newer 850 engine.  With the posted 66mm stroke it must be a HP at high revs type of engine? Would be interesting to get to ride the Norge with that engine. Some one of this bunch must have had that chance?

Since the owner posted it on YouTube I emailed him to see if he'd post another video without music and also include a walk around. Wasn't that hard to do.

Do you think the bike would look slower if the video was played at actual speed ?, or was that your point ?

Hmm, as an aspiring YouTube and GoPro motorcycle video neophyte I will learn from this video.

He used side helmet mount, seemed pretty good.
Its pretty clear the video speed is bumped up.
Agree on music, I prefer either the natural engine sounds and/or a bit of commentary.

Been too busy getting ready to move houses to ride.  Maybe tomorrow.  Have GoPro mount on the V7r.

Yeah, seems a bit risky there on the passing, in the rain, no shoulders.  But, what the heck to I know?

Hey lucydad, you probably know a fair bit. If you ride bikes and haven't killed yourself you must have learned something

the title says 850... why would he lie?

Why would he speed up the video and not have it run at the actual speed?

Guess I have become a bit too suspicious about stuff posted online.....

Yeah it sort of destroys the flow and general feel of what it's like. Would like to know where it was taken, looks reminiscent of Italy, but so does anywhere that's fabulous

What he said on "lucky" !!!!

Bad music, bad riding example, questionable truth.  Does an 850 really have so much passing grunt?  I don't think so.

Give me a full view of the bike and a closeup of whatever you can see of the motor.
